Construction began on the dormitories of the Arab American University in Jenin, Palestine.  The university’s master plan and buildings were designed by GDAR Group.  Four of the buildings of the twelve-building project were completed in 1999.  The total built up area of the project amounts to 25,000 square meters, and it is expected to cost about 3.5 million JD (about 5 million $US).  For additional information on the project, see the university’s web site at http://www.aauj.edu
