Construction
work was completed on the King Abdul
Aziz Historic Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dar al-Omran (previously
Shubeilat Badran Associates - SBA) carried out the designs for
the Riyadh Development Authority
project. The 13,000 square meter project includes an
administration building and a museum. The project also
incorporates conservation works for the historic al-Murabba
Palace and the Treasury, in addition to the reconstruction of
the King Abdul Aziz Mosque. The project cost 18 million JD
(around 25 million $US).

Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dar
al-Omran (previously Shubeilat Badran Associates -
SBA) carried out the designs jointly with the Egyptian firm Community
Designs for the Riyadh
Development Authority. The 230,000 square meter
project, which includes shops, offices, and residential units,
cost 85 million JD (around 120 million $US). |
