Jafar Tukan and Partners, in association with Universal Group of Nablus, completed designs for an expansion of al-Najah University in Nablus, Palestine.  The 90,000 square meter project includes buildings that will house the university’s administration, the schools of fine arts, engineering, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and sciences, as well as the university library, sports center, dormitories, and a mosque.  The cost of the project is expected to amount to 38 million JD (about 53.5 million $US).

Shubeilat Badran Associates (SBA) Architects and Consulting Engineers completed designs for the first phase of upgrading al-Bashir Hospital in Amman.  The hospital, which is run by the Ministry of Health, is Jordan’s main public hospital.  The 15 million JD (21 million $US) renovation project includes designing a new master plan for the hospital complex and designing new medical facilities that include maternity and pediatric wings that have a capacity of 350 beds.  The built up area of the project occupies 43,800 square meters.

Tibah Consultants completed designs for the Prime Minister’s residence to be located across the Prime Ministry building in Amman.  Interior architecture designs were carried out by Tibah in association with al-Darat.  The 2000-square meter project will include a formal, public segment containing reception and dining areas, and a private living area for the Prime Minister and his family.

The Consolidated Consultants for Engineering and Environment completed designs for the Millenium Commercial Center and Bus Station in Bethlehem, Palestine.  The 27,000 square meter project, which was designed for the Palestine Real Estate Investment Company, includes facilities for a bus station, and a commercial center that includes shops, a bank, a multipurpose hall, a restaurant, and a cinema complex.
