The Municipality of Greater Amman inaugurated Poetry House, one of Amman’s older houses belonging to the 1930s. The newly renovated house, which overlooks the city’s Roman Theatre, will serve as a literary meeting place. During the 1930s and 1940s, the house served as the residence of Prince Nayif bin ‘Abdullah, the brother of the late King Talal, and the great uncle of the King Abdullah II. For additional information concerning projects being carried out by the Municipality of Greater Amman, visit their web site at http://www.access2arabia.com/moga/
