Jafar Tukan and Partners completed designs for two hospitals in Saudi Arabia.  The first is the 40,000 square meter, 180-bed al-Ahsa Hospital in al-Hfouf that is expected to cost 15 million JD (about 21 million $US).  The hospital was designed in association with Abalkhail Consulting Engineers of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  The second hospital is the 27,000 square meter, 100-bed Qasseem Hospital in Qasseem that is expected to cost 7.5 million JD (about 10.5 million $US).  This second hospital was designed in association with Al Dughaither Architects of

Arabtech-Jardaneh Consulting Engineers and Architects completed designs for the Palestinian Cultural Center in Ramallah – al-Bireh, Palestine for the Municipality of Ramallah and the Ministry of Culture of the Palestinian National Authority.  The 4,000 square meter structure includes a 600-seat auditorium, lounges, meeting rooms, and administrative offices.  The project is expected to cost 3.5 million JD (5 million $US), and is being funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
