July 2000 Construction work began on the Jordanian Journalists Association Building in Amman. The 9,500 square meter structure, which was designed by the Amman Office for Consulting and City Planning, will include offices, a library, a journalist club, an auditorium, and conference halls. The project is expected to cost 2.5 million JD (3,500,000 $US).
