Construction was initiated on the extension for the Arab Bank headquarters in Amman.  The Arab Bank, which has about 380 branches in over 25 countries, is Jordan’s largest company, and is also the largest privately owned bank in the Arab world.  The 20,000 square meter extension project, which was designed by Diran Masri Sarrar Consultant Architects and Engineers, is expected to cost 8 million JD (about 11 million $US).
