32 students received their bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Applied Sciences University in Amman; 13 from al-Isra’ University in Amman; 34 from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid; 8 students from Petra University in Amman; and 42 from the University of Jordan in Amman.


Yasir Sakr, assistant professor at the Department of Architecture at the University of Jordan in Amman, will be spending the summer of 2000 as a Binladen Fellow at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.  The fellowship provides its recipients with the opportunity to carry out research at Harvard in areas relating to the built environment in the Islamic world.
