Jafar Tukan and Partners completed designs for a building for the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Finance and Industry in Abu Dhabi.  The sixteen-story building, which occupies an area of over 23,000 square meters, will be located next to the original headquarters of the ministry


Tahhan and Bushnaq Consultants completed designs for the development of a master plan and the design of residential units for the traditional village of Qatar in Wadi ‘Araba in southern Jordan.  The project, which was designed for the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, covers an area of 120,000 square meters and is expected to cost one million JD (1.4 million $US).


Dar al-Handasa completed designs for an extension to the Amman Le Meridien Hotel.  The extension covers an area of over 30,000 square meters, and will include facilities such as a new entrance lobby, lounges, a ball room, meeting rooms, a health club, administration offices, and guest rooms.  The project is expected to be completed by December 2001.
