Construction was completed on an extension for the headquarters of the Industrial Development Bank in Amman.  Shaer Bureau designed the eight-story, 2,500 square meter structure, which cost 850,000 JD (1.2 million $US).



Construction was completed on the Bethlehem Intercontinental Hotel in Bethlehem, Palestine for the Palestine Tourism Investment Company.  The project includes the renovation of the existing 850 square meter Jasir Palace and a 28,000 square meter extension that includes 200 rooms along with facilities such as banquet halls, restaurants, a health club, and a retail arcade.  The project was designed by Arabtech-Jardaneh Consulting Engineers and Architects in association with the Spanish architectural firm, Arcadia.  The American firm Hirsch Bedner Associates carried out interior design work, and landscape architecture designs were carried out by the American firm Site Concept.  The British firm Buro Happold carried out schematic structural design work for the project, which cost about 27 million JD (38 million $US).



Construction was completed on the first automated branch of the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, Jordan’s second largest bank.  The 50 square meter facility, which was designed by S.M. Dudin Architects and Engineers, cost 50,000 JD (70,000 $US).
