The Municipality of Greater Amman began designs and studies for the construction of a public garden for citizens with special needs in Amman. The garden, which extends over a 7,000 square-meter site, includes sport halls, swimming pools, and restaurants. The Municipality's Special Building Department also is preparing a building code that addresses the needs of citizens with special needs.

 

Bitar Consultants were commissioned to design the refurbishment and interior works for al-Salam Markets for the Military Consumers Corporation in Amman.

 

Bitar Consultants and Jafar Tukan and Partners were commissioned to provide architectural and engineering designs for the renovation of forty primary health care centers located throughout Jordan. A budget of 42,000 JD (around 60,000 $US) has been assigned for the renovation of each health center. The renovation projects are part of the Primary Health Care Initiatives program that USAID (United States Agency for International Development) is funding in order to improve health care resources in Jordan.
