in Amman.

al-Bayt University
in Mafraq established a Department
of Architecture.
The department will begin admitting students for a
bachelor's degree program in architecture in the 2001 - 2002
academic year.

The
Department of Architecture at the
Jordan
University of Science and Technology
in Irbid began
admitting students in its newly established master's
degree program in Urban Planning and Studies.

The
Department of Architecture at Petra
University in
Amman will no longer admit students beginning in the 2001 -
2002 academic year.
However, the University's Faculty of Architecture and
Interior Design will continue to admit students in interior
design and graphic design.
