The
Government
Tenders Directorate at the Jordanian Ministry
of Public Works and Housing awarded Arabtech
- Jardaneh Consulting Engineers and Architects a
contract for the preparation of designs and tender documents
for the Baq'a Public Hospital
in Baq'a. The 11,000 square-meter hospital includes a 100-bed
inpatient department, outpatient clinics, an emergency
department, an operation theatre, laboratories, and a
pharmacy.

Al-Marsam
Architects and Engineers,
in association withGDAR Group,
were commissioned to design the interior
and refurbishment works for the
auditorium of the
Jordan National Medical Council in Amman. The
210,000 JD (around 300,000 $US) project is part of the Primary
Health Care Initiative Program that USAID
(United States Agency for International
Development) is funding in order to improve health care
resources in Jordan.
