The Jordan
Engineers Association (JEA) approved 16,550 building
design contracts covering a total area of 4.63
million square meters during the first nine months of 2001.
This shows a 20% rise in the number
of building contracts, and a 26% rise in the overall building
area in comparison with the first nine months of the year
2000.
