March 2001 The Engineers Training Center (ETC) of the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) offered a 27-hour course on the architectural details of buildings. The Arab Town Organization Award, in association with the Arab Urban Development Institute and the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, organized a symposium in Doha, Qatar entitled The Islamic Architectural Heritage of the Third Millennium. The Jordanian architect Rasem Badran, co-principal of the architectural firm Dar al-Omran, was among those who gave presentations at the symposium.
