Construction work was completed on the Safeway Stores in both Aqaba and Zarqa. Mimar Consulting Engineers and Architects carried out the designs for the Jordanian Limited Company for Investment and Financing. The 3,000 square meter Aqaba Safeway cost about 600,000 JD (850,000 $US), and the 6,000 square meter Zarqa Safeway cost about 1,000,000 JD (1,400,000 $US).
