In connection with the Second Jordanian Architectural Conference (for more details on the conference see the Seminars and workshops section below), the International Exhibition for Architectural Engineering and Industrial and Constructional Equipment 2000 was held at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman. More than 25 countries participated in the exhibition, which was organized by the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA).

An exhibition of works of Islamic crafts was held at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman. The exhibition was organized by the Institute of Islamic Arts at al-Balqa' Applied University in Salt in cooperation with the Visual Islamic and Traditional Arts (VITA) program at the Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture of the Prince's Foundation for Architecture and Urban Planning in London. The exhibition included examples of calligraphy, ceramics, textiles, and woodwork carried out by students and academicians at the Institute of Islamic Arts and the VITA program.
