Achieving sustainability in the city involves addressing a number of interconnected aspects of urban life among which is the issue of urban agriculture. This section of the CSBE website features an extensive study that CSBE has carried out in association with Fredrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) on urban agriculture in Jordan, concentrating on Amman. The study initiates a wider project on the subject that will include developing a hands-on activity guide for school students on urban agriculture, developing training of trainers workshops on implementing the guide, and implementing urban agriculture activities based on the guide in a number of schools.
